„Education Past the Nation”

What can be better than developing Your skills in international environment. What can You do instead of sitting in Your own bubble and dreaming of going out of Your comfort zone. Actually You should take a risk and take part in some project. There You will change and You will discover Yourself and meet friends for a living.

I had an icredible chance to go for an Erasmus+ project in May. Together with people from Italy, Greece, Romania and Lithuania we were discussing important topic of migration. Activities were very interesting, broad and simply encouraging. Integrating with young people I delved into this extremely important issue.

My days in Chania were filled with creating posters, debates and searching for unusual solutions through artistic collages and scenes. I was trying to be active and I opened up for new knowledge.

During the cultural evening I got to know other cultures. better. It helped me fight my stereotypical thinking.

It is impossible to forget about the days spent in the center of Crete, where my task was to interview the local community and examine their knowledge and associations related to the main topic of Youth exchange.

I had a unique opportunity to get to know migrants' lives from the inside and honestly understand their point of view.

I will never forget this Erasmus+ week. It changed me and made me more aware EU citizen.
